We interviewed Kathryn Cherkas from the Alzheimer’s Association about paying for care. Here’s what she said:

What the association can do as a whole is advise the best timeline for planning out finances.Our legal and financial planning course covers this and really demonstrates the importance of making these decisions early so that [it is] the person living with dementia’s decision, [so] their wishes are known and considered in all plans.
